Woolsey Passes

Sadly Woolsey passed.  I found him curled up in his burrow.  He was a sweet, gregarious hamster that will be greatly missed.  He was 2 years, 8 months old.  Rest in peace little Woosley.

Here is the baked potato! He is a very avid wheel runner and he sometimes sleeps in his wheel.

 

Here is his digs.  You can see he made his nest in his igloo.  On the next cage cleaning there will be some changes to include a sand bath area and a "burrow."  I can't wait!

Woolsey Comes to the Village

Woolsey is a baked potato shaped Syrian hamster taken in from a family in North Portland. They were moving and could not keep him so we picked him up today.  He is very sweet.  Right now he is getting settled in his new habitat so I hope to add pictures later.
